Architecture and Geography

Bolivia is the hemisphere’s highest, most isolated, rugged nation. It’s among the earth’s coldest, warmest, windiest and steamiest spots. It boasts among the driest, saltiest and swampiest natural landscapes in the world.  Bolivia has it all…except, that is, for beaches. Bolivia is one of the least developed countries in Latin America. It is a landlocked country that is equal in size to Texas and California combined. Bolivia is located between Brazil on the eastern border, Argentina and Paraguay on the south, and Chile and Peru on the west. On the western side of Bolivia are two chains of the Andes Mountains.  The northern and eastern two thirds of the country are in a lowland region containing grasslands to rain forests.
